Sacred Logic™ is operated by Sacred Logic Ltd., founded by Andrew Waterhouse.

Sacred Logic™ was founded on a simple conviction: as AI systems spread into every part of life, trust has to be earned, not assumed. We certify AI systems against a 10-point Human Values Framework — with a human review behind every Charter Mark awarded. Always. Run from the Burren in the west of Ireland, Sacred Logic™ exists to help organisations prove their AI deserves trust, and to help everyone else find AI that does.

The founder

Andrew Waterhouse founded Sacred Logic™ in 2026. A professional artist with more than twenty years living and working in the Burren, he has run The Burren Art Gallery since founding it in 2010, and the Burren Art Group — a free resource for over sixty local artists — since 2011.

Behind the creative career sits a formal grounding in business and technology: a B.A. (Hons) in Business Studies and an M.A. in Applied Economics from the University of Hertfordshire, a Postgraduate Diploma in Small Business Management from Durham University Business School, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Software Engineering from the University of Limerick, with an early career in management training and education at The Open University Business School in Ireland.

Sacred Logic™ brings those threads together: human creativity, sound business practice, and a working understanding of how software is actually built.

Why an art gallery?

It's a fair question. Sacred Logic™ wasn't born in a compliance consultancy or a tech accelerator — it was born in a gallery in the Burren, run by Andrew Waterhouse, an artist who has spent a career thinking about what makes human creative work meaningful, and what happens to authorship, attribution, and trust when machines start producing work that looks human.

That outsider's perspective is the point. A framework about human valuesshouldn't be written only by the people building the machines. It's why the Human Values Framework goes beyond the standard technical checklists to cover things conventional AI frameworks leave out — creative and intellectual authorship integrity, cultural and epistemic diversity, and stewardship of a system across its whole life, not just its launch.

The framework's first seven points align deliberately with the EU's own Trustworthy AI requirements, and the Charter Mark is positioned as a voluntary Article 95 code of conduct under the EU AI Act — rigour where rigour is expected, human judgement where it matters most.
